VZ58 - Black Furniture

Hello,

I finally picked up my birthday present from my Son (Thx) and it came with a lot of extra goodies... extended mag release, AKM brake, spare parts kit, spare furniture etc.

The first thing I did was clean and inspect, all in good condition, then I spray painted the furniture with black "Truck Bed Liner" and reassembled. The "Truck Bed Liner" leaves a nice slightly pebble'd finish which is quite durable. Rob bought the gun from CGN's Dwisy. Thanks a lot

Then I made a mount for my OKO reflex sight and added that on... here are a few pictures:

Looking good. Did you just add a rail to the top hand guard or did you do something else fancy?

How's the rattle on the cover? I gave up on my panoramic because it wouldn't hold zero.

I made the base from scratch, I used two pieces of aluminium and used two large rivets to atach it to the upper hand guard. I took enough metal off of the bottom of the rivets to allow it to rotate in on as per normal but requires a lot of force to rotate. It does not move even if bumped or dropped.

It does not rattle at all. I was amazed at how tight and secure it is.
