Hey all

So ended up picking up a Fab defense recoil reducing buffer tube for my VZ58 and for the life of me have no idea how to get it on.
Got the folding stock off (after much effort) but the buffer tube seems solid all the way around with no way to get at the screw used to screw it in. Anyone know how to do this?

should have a plastic "cap" on the top of the buffer tube near the receiver end. that "cap" opens up (have to pry)...the "screw" will be in that void area. once you have it open you can see the channel that you would run the allan key up from the bottom of the buffer tube.
that's how mine was. hope it helps and i can post pics later perhaps if needed.
cheers

Thanks man I kinda understand what your talking about pics would be awesome.
And any suggestions on what to use to pry the cap open?

if it was like mine the lever to move the stock back and forth can be moved a certain way to remove that piece than you will be able to get at it

I have been down this road twice. You have to file the hole (round) to get everything to line up. No other way around it. Defect in the product...
