I bought a red fiber optic front sight, and while it is very bright and easy to pick up, the post itself is loose in the front sight block. I can't get it to zero as recoil makes it spring freely. What the hell? Any solutions?
Cheers

I think I found a solution. The aftermarket front sight was too narrow, with slits on the sides. I grabbed a hollow ground screwdriver and tapped it to match the more oval sight posts I was seeing, seems snug enough until I can buy a replacement

That will do maybe you don't need a replacement

This is exactly what you're supposed to do. Put a mark on it with a paint marker to see if it moves, and once you have your zero, loctite it in if you really want it secured.
