VZ58 Front Sight Post removal?

I'm installing one of Zahal's Fibre Optic Sight sets and I'm having a heck of a time getting the front sight post out. Does it just screw out or is there another trick? Compounding the issue is the fact that it looks like the previous owner used red loctite on the sight. I've applied some heat using a soldering iron but no budging yet. Am I missing something?

They screw in /out. In theory it should be no more complex than changing a light bulb. They all come with a blob of loctite type stuff.

i have put a nea fiber optic on mine to uncrew the factory one i just have take a 3/8 bolt and do a slot in enough deep and large for the sight and after that you take a keu for the bolt head and you are good ^^

you dio that if you dont have the sight tool ^^
