Just got my new vz58 in 7.62x39 and started looking for furniture. First thing I feel I need find a solid handguard so I can mount the red dot. After a lot of reading, I found bc tactical and BONESTEEL are better options - both metal and hold zero better than polymer sets. I more like the look of bc tactical but I can't seem find any store has the bc tactaical set right now? I tried sent email to bc tactical but didn't get response. Does anyone one know which store has it? or any suggestion for metal handguard?

They look good. Do you think this will work, it say clearly on the website for AIRSOFT ONLY. They don't need any permits to make them in Czech republic for real rifles why would they say airsoft. Let us know after you try it

CNC dust cover for airsoft vz.58 - ARES

CNC dust cover for airsoft gun vz.58 by ARES. This dust cover is made on CNC machine from aluminium EN AW 2007. Rail is integrated on cover.

Dust cover can be mounted on gun by two chucking "stones".

Dust covers are plain. You have to use your spring guides from stock cover on ARES

Side rails for soviet - style optic mounts work good too. They also store easier than a fixed optics on the dust cover. NEA also makes a forward handguard Tha cowitnesses the iron sights.

Those are my 2 preferences when I don't just use the irons - which I find more fun, generally, but I understand anyone who wishes to partake in tournament scenes would prefer accurate fire over plinking.

Cheers!

Do the BC tactical rails allow for co-witnessing an aimpoint with the iron sights?

2 weeks later, this shows up in the mail from Brno Czech republic:

It is well made and a very snug fit. No wiggle like the OEM top handguard. Also color is a good match. The iron sights can be used with the handguard in place and the top of the front sight guard is barely visible at the bottom of the Holosun.

I found the M4 style stock to be a bit high to use with the irons, but this is a great cheek weld using this set up. Range report to follow.

Yes, would rather spend at sponsoring dealer but this particular brake is not showing up in Canada on my searches. After 30 rounds with just the thread protector I was getting a red cheek from the stock slap. This brake eliminated that.
