I was on Facebook a few days ago and I was on this page dedicated to Cz858/Vz58's. There was an interesting picture from Highland arms the same folks that bring you the .22 conversion kits...a 9mm VZ58...here is a picture

Looks like its a conversion kit. Sweet!! I want!! Why don't we have these???
It actually looks pretty good with the stick mag. Be nice if it would take glock mags. I bet it would look good in one of the 7.5"
Bet the kits would sell like crazy in canada

I don't have a lot of info...I even sent a msg to HA for details. You will get details as I do. I think Lobster_pot might be right ...it might be a kit but on the FB page ( page is called Vz58/CZ858 and they are close friends with Zahal) it has no mention that it is a kit it just says "VZ-58 9mm by highland arms".
Its no surprise it is in the bathroom...some of the best thinking goes on in there. LOL I will have to go look Deckard and see if it is the same rifle...Thank you for the tip. I have probably passed it over before without noticing.
 
Definitely not the same as in FAQ section. I am beginning to lean towards this being a kit of sorts...but would there be need for a sleeve? I usually don't mingle in the 9mm platform so maybe someone with the knowledge can help on this one...

It would need a whole new barrel. Removal and replacement is not a home job for the vast majority of us.
