VZ58 NEA Handguard and Trijicon RMR?

I'm looking at changing the setup on my VZ, and I am wondering if the Trijicon RMR cowitnesses at all with an NEA handguard. Anyone have personal experience with this?

No it does not. Only the Bushnell TRS-25 and the Aimpoint Micro models will co-witness on this rifle that I have tried.

Rmr is a sweet piece tho. Im using mine on my csa with dustcover rail. Doesnt co-witness but it sure does work damn well.

Are you running the LED or dual illumination model? I'm really tempted to buy one of these, but I was hoping it would co witness.

Suppose I could put it on a quick release mount. Then I could at least get it out of the way if needed.
