I'm trying to find an upper handguard optic mount. I used to have a great one from NEA I think (i could be wrong). Just always wanted a red dot on thr VZ. Even though I can't shoot it for now it feels like an unfinished project and I have hope that we'll get them out there again.
I put up a wtb ad on the EE, but I'm wondering if anyone has seen a new one available at any of our retailers? There are a couple other options for mounts still available but id love to get my hands on one of these ones.
If not i may settle for a side mount that screws directly to the receiver. Any experience with these? Is the height workable without a cheek riser?
