Does anyone have any experience installing these railed dust covers from corwin arms?
I'm not quite sure how to go about it. Its the 3 set screws 2 in back 1 on top that have me confused.
What's the best way to tighten them and make sure everything lines up?
I was thinking of just leaving them loose, then push the rear pin through so it's lined up. Then tighten them a bit each time until they are snug.
I suppose i should use some loctite as well?
Then attatch the bottom plates and snug those side screws down?
I wish these came with instructions
My original dust cover doesn't line up as it is. I have to push forward on it to get the pin through, so it is no longer putting pressure on the rear of the receiver. All the pressure is on my pin which bends it when i fire. I bought this to fix that issue but if done incorrectly i could see that happening again here as well.
