VZ58 scope options /aimpoint options

With a low SVD mount you get the option of using a nomal eye relief compact scope or a red dot. Goes on and off in seconds and returns to zero. Looks higher in the pic than actually is, no cheekrest needed.

I'll try to get more pics :)

Nice setup spencer. Where did you get the mount ?

The Kobra with Picatinny adapter mounted on a ScoutScope mount (that replaces the rear sight leaf) should work nicely. You can also try the OKO sight which isn't as bulky. How do the Czechs/Slovakians mount their optics?

I had the Scout mount. It was hell to align on the rifle using 4 screws. The Palinak mount is easier to install and take off and any sight will sit lower than the Scout mount. I did look into the OKO sight. The red dot was larger than the Kobra`s and it looked flimsy, it looked like could not take a drop. Yes the kobra might be bulkier but its built like a tank :)
