Hi there,

Has anyone had any experience with these? I see that many VZ58 are purchased with the stock at a slight angle. I've seen a couple of these stock adapters on Canadian retalier websites and they say they make the stock aligned with the bore thus removing that angle that the stock connects to the receiver.

Just wanted to know if there is any utility to having the stock aligned flat with the bore. If anyone has any reviews on these adaptors. And if that angle that the stock is at is actually better ergonomics to shoulder the VZ58 than having it aligned with the bore.

Thanks in advance.

If your going with an inline adapter, get one that is multi height (stormwerkz, and one that can am sold or still sells) they allow you to use the factory irons, somewhat comfortably. I think the slight angle is the most comfortable for sure but I had great cheek weld with the stormwerkz adapter and magpul ctr stock, both with irons and with a handguard mounted red dot.

The main benefits of having an inline stock to your reciever are:

1) it brings recoil straight back into your shoulder, keeps the muzzle fairly flat under rapid fire, lets you get back on target faster.
2) it just looks better, I think anyway.

You want that adaptability of being able to adjust the height, if your red dot bites it and need to go back to trusty irons you can. Don't bother with the nea type or others that aren't multi height adjustable.

Thank you for the extra advice. Which handguard mount did you use for your VZ? Did it retain zero and did you have to remove the sight when field stripping?

Go with stormwerkz for your adapter you can adjust them up or down and add a folding mech later if you are so inclined

I personally like the Bc tactical aluminum handguard and the fab polymer, both seemed to lock up fine and retain zero. I've heard good things about the b&t as well but very pricey. Some guys love the nea one, I did not, but it does hold zero.
