vz58 where did you get yours

Bullseye London has one or two in stock last time I dropped in. Good supporting dealer and great team of guys to buy from in there. It is actual customer SERVICE not just a CT clerk going what yah want ?

Got mine from Marstar about 4 or 5 years ago (Restricted 15.5" FSN-01, chrome lined). It came with a bent upper handguard and beat up beaver barf. Bought some nice NOS wood on the EE and refinished it. Bought an extended wooden pistol grip on Ebay and stained to match. (The lighting is different in each pic but both sides are the same). CSA has a black receiver, FSN is plum, CZ is blue. Unsure if they made plum mags to match.

Most CZ858's are unobtainable, FSN's can't be purchased unless on the used market and your only choice currently is a CSA brand VZ58.

In my opinion go with the .223
Get a magwell adapter and some beowulf mags.

I prefer the caliber it was designed for. I already have an AR15 so I didn't consider a 223. I know some of the 223 models and the magwell adapters had reliability issues. Maybe that has been fixed now, but it scared me off for sure.

I have the magwell adapter on my 7.62 CSA VZ58 and it appears to work well when cycling 10/10 XCR mags (firing pin removed). This is of course after I fitted it in the same manner as id64 has (minus the glass bedding) in his thread shown here

Worst.Setup.ever.

Why would you want it in an inferior round caliber at double or triple the price of the original cartridge (16-20 cent VS 35-50 cent a round) and a crappy mag-well modification ?
That is unbelievable.
