i am wondering am i going to see a marked improvement in pattern consistency and control by using a wad wizard choke on my sbe2? i hunt over decoys but i am not adverse to pass shooting and sometimes need to reach out to 45-50 yds but no further hopefully. which wad wizard choke or other brand woudl be the best the supreme seems to be the best all around but the swat intrigues me. any opinions?

A long forcing cone also helps with tighter patterns; check if your gun has it done already.

Test different brands and payloads on the patterning board. Believe it or not, a lighter payload may put more pellets in the core.

I use my shotgun for brush hunting coyotes. I tried a new choke called the Pattern Master. With #4 buck shot I can reach them out past 50 yards. I have never seen any other choke or system that allows 30" patterns past 50 yards. However, I believe the Wad Wizzard is based on the same principle, effectively slowing down the wad, so it is possible that it will be just as effective.

I have a WW SWAT12 for my SBEII and really like it. I use it when birds are dumping into the decoys and shots range from 5-25 yards. I did have a PM for +35 yard shots but have since switched to a Terror .675 and really like it also. I found the Crio chokes threw excellent patterns (in my gun) from 20-40 yards, however, they were weak at either side of that range.
