Going to be picking up some waders in the next couple of weeks. Going to be used for waterfowl hunting as well as lase fall marsh trapping? I've never had a pair before, any thing i should look for or stay away from? I'm pretty limited as to where i can buy Cabela's or Wholesale pretty much. I don't really like buying stuff like this online with out being able to test fit it first. Also if anyone from WPG knows any other places to try that would be great as well. Thanks.

Leaning towards something like this

Yup I second Bry's comment about a size larger.. I wore wadders for 8 months, every day for work doing wetland research and comfort is a huge deal. The cheap ones will pinch and cram your feet to the point you would rather be cold and wet. Spend the cash on a very comfy pair and don't "e-shop" you need to try these things out and walk around the store for at least 10 minutes. Might get some funky looks in some shops but not the sporting goods stores that understand.. Insulated Neoprene is the way to go but when trapping watch out for thorns, had a buddy tear his neoprenes first time out last year on a hawthorne bush on the edge of the flooded timber we were hunting.

You could also try a Canadian Tire neoprene pair for about half the price. I've had the same one for about 3 years now with using them 15-25 times a year.

I own a pair of Itasca Big Boy waders that I purchased online from BigCamo.com. Best waders I have ever owned for late season. 5mm Neoprene with lots of insulation, I believe the boot is 1200 grams thinsulate. I have never had a late season day I couldn't sit for hours in the blind or boat with these as they are like a furnace and they are tough as nails with re-inforced knees and the sides have expandable gussets so I can fit lots of clothes in them.
