Just got in after firing my 870 for the first time. Come to think of it, I've never fired a shotgun before.

Had a round of skeet and didn't do too badly. Shot a bunch of slugs and OO buckshot too! What fun! Must have put at least 60 shells through it. Damn! Now I'm hooked!!! I guess it will be coming out to the club with me all the time.

I should mention that it has a 20" barrel, rifle sights, and no choke. Maybe that is why I was able to hit a few of those funny round things that wobble through the air?

You only put 60 rounds thru er'. That aint much. But at least you didnt go as far as torching off so many rounds that your shoulder regrets it the next day. Doesnt matter how many rounds one puts thru it, it will always be fun. Keep havin fun.
