The Wainwright Gun club is in the process of planning its 2006 shooting calander. Is there any interest from from the local area (Alberta/Saskatchewan) For a service rifle /or falling plate type match ? We have the range facilities here that allow us to shoot to 800m on a conventional range. Any match held would be held on a sunday and approximate cost would be $20 per shooter. This would put towards trophies and door prizes. Match would be held in the May to July time frame. If you are interested in attending such a match please send me a PM.
Our club normally has a 22 rifle match mid may , an iron sight match sept and WWII era weapon shoot mid dec. Depending on club interest ,pistol matches mid summer.
