Wainwright Service/Sniper match

Base Wainwright Alberta

500m longish range match

Range #8...Go to range control...sign in...its just down the road on the left

Combination paper bullseye and reactive steel falling plate

3 classes....Iron sight/Sevice rifle...Hunting/historic sniper....Open modern sniper

$10-$15 entry fee per class

Cash prizes for each class and overall cash prize if you shoot (and win) in all 3 catergories

It looks like prize money will work out as follows:
1st $100
2nd $75
3rd $50

If you compete in all 3 classes (Iron/Hunting-Historic sniper/Modern sniper) $200 !!!

Any rifle with iron sights (intended for service rifles but if someone wants to shoot grandpas 30-30 with irons thats where it goes)

If someone shows up with some kind of wacky iron sighted match rifle they will probably get bumped up class

Historic/hunting places modern scoped hunting rifles competeing in the same class as OLD sniper rifles (No4 T/Mosin Nagant with PU/K-98 sniper)
