My son got me interested in long range target shooting. So in fall I ordered a savage magnum target and apparently it should be here this month. I was wondering if anybody has had an opportunity to try one? I'm relatively new to this sport and just getting my feet wet. I really enjoy my lever guns and revolvers so this is new territory for me. Looking forward to it.

There is not much info to be found on them. I found the pricing somewhat attractive and knowing that savage does produce accurate rifles I thought I would give it a shot. I was hoping someone would have some experience with them. Looking forward to receiving it.
