Waiting for the license

I took my course on Feb 7, 09. I checked on the net and it says that it finished initial processing on Feb 16 and its now in progress. Any idea how long it takes from here out??
 
If this helps; the CFC site said they received my application on January 19, and on February 27 their site said it was completed and mailed.
 
expect at least 2 month wait.mine took 3 and i had a pol before so i would think they checked my background before they issued that card.
 
ya when you first send in your pal application it usually takes a while b4 you get it!! and they may call your refrences and if they dont get ahold of them they wont send it until the do speak to them!!!! but if your renewing it it usually take about 3 weeks to get your new card from my experiences!! :rockOn:

Im a new license holder mine took a month and a week time one of my references where called and i did the interview as well.

So i guess its best to just sit and dream about your first rifle/pistol for the time being.
hehe made me want my license even more doing that and helped with the wait time.
 
Mine arrived at CFC on Feb 20th according to the Internet. My refs were called last Thursday. I got a call as well.

I called them today and asked what the time frame now was, and they said my PAL/RPAL was approved, but they couldn't mail it out till 28 days after Feb 20th. That means it should be mailed out on March 20th....

I'd say once your references are contacted, call the CFC and ask them what the time frame is till they mail it out to you.
