Waiting on paperwork?

Okay so I did my PAL on the 25th of April. Now Is my instructor supposed to send me something that I send with my ap? I was under the impression that he had to send me some paperwork before I sent in my aplication. Is this correct? He did have us address an envelope first thing in the morning. Unfortunatly I forget what it was for. Should I keep waiting? Or am I just a dumba**
 
Test results from CFO

Your test instuctor will forward your test results to the CFO, who will approve and record them, then stamp your paperwork and mail it to you in the envelope that you filled out. Once you receive this, take a photocopy and attach that copy to your PAL form and mail to Mirimichi.... I know in ONT it took almost 4 weeks to receive my test results back with that stamp from the CFO office
 
You need proof that you passed the firearms course. in bc then give it to you right after the test, in some other provinces the cfo has to approve it, then mail it back to you.
 
Okay thanls guys; I am in Ontario, and it was on the 25th of April so I guess it makes sense for it to be still in the works. I'm so anxious to get everything I need to get that SKS my friend is selling !! Patience, patience... I keep telling myself
 
I'm also in Ontario and went through the same process. They received my paperwork on April 1 and I received my RPAL yesterday. Bought a Remington 12Ga and 2 flats today, will be blasting some skeets this week-end.

Haha right on, so you went with the Remmy did ya. I was thinking for my second gun I'd go with Mossberg. Matter of opinion I guess. Congrats man

Hello, you said "Mail photocopy" of the paperwork (the one with the stamp mailed back to you from Orillia)? I did the reverse. I mailed the original along with my application to Mirimichi and kept photocopy for myself. So I'm guessing, they're cool eitherway, right?
 
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS okay it came in the mail today. So now what? I fill out the application with my references, and guarantuer and what not. Got my passport photo. So how much money do I send with it? And to what address? One step closer now :)
 
Everything you need to know about filling out the forms is included with the forms. It's on the first couple of pages if I recall correctly. I didn't send any money but used my credit card.

I knew the process was moving along when I saw the charge appear among my credit card transactions as I was making an on-line payment. Beginning to end the whole thing took just under 6 weeks.

Make good use of the time and find yourself a nice friendly club to join and get to know the people there.
