Hey Guys and Gals,

I was down at Walmart today to pick up some stuff....they're clearing out this seasons' hunting stuff! Some really good grabs in there!! Get down while sale is on!!

Touqes, gloves etc for like 2 BUCKS!!

All camo clothing is on for reasonable prices too!!!

Last time I was at the farmers market you could get a good pair of locally made wool mittens, socks or scarves for less then 10. And our "over priced" local hunting goods store usually is with in 10 percent on quality goods and does'nt sell garbage.

Does'nt it just make you feel bad going in there or do the lights work on you?

Triple screw Walmart!
After the manager at the Barrie Ontario Walmart called the police on one of the local gun club members because he had the pictures of his guns developed there. The gun club member took the pictures so that they were all recorded for insurance and to keep a record of them. He did not have a digital camera.
What a process that was.
Because of the way the manager and their head office treated this and fellow gun owners, screw them forever.
All they want to do is come into town, sell cheap imported crap and make the local business man go out of business You know, the local guy that gives great service and supports your local town and it's sports teams a lot more than the foreign company.
I believe it was 60 Minutes or 20/20 who did a great expose on Walmart that was on TV a few months ago and their business philosophy on how they take over small town U.S.A. and Canada and force the local stores out of business so that they get market share and then they jack up the prices.
Anyway, enough of my rant, I can go on forever.
Screw Em!

You know, I never thought of it that way... thanks for making me think twice.

But still, I know I would do the same, and I know you would do the same if you owned walmart.

You know, I do what I can with what little I have.

I do however, run a very successful business, am one of the top three in my category and have a very large share of the market.

I run my business the old fashion way; on service, honestly and integrity. I treat my customers exactly like I want to be treated. Sure, I might screw up, anyone would be a liar if they said they didn't, but I make it right by making my customer happy. And I appologize.

I would never jack up the prices and believe me I have the perfect opportunity to. I rely on the continued return business of my loyal clientelle. And why do they come back to me regularly, because I treat them with honestly, integrity and I give them great service.

Morals and Values come at a price and I'm willing to pay.

I have personal experience with WalMart.....no I am not a greeter but one of their vendors. I tell you it's like. Their offices are folding chairs and a crappy table with think walls and a tile floor. I have been in public washrooms better furnished. Once you get in there they hear everything you say and at the end they tell you to drop price or loose shelf space (sales). All vendors pay for their flyers and if you are late with a shipment look-out....they will accept the shipment and just not pay for it and tell you not to let it happen again (total BS).

By doing this they force any manufacturer to go off shore to be more competitive (losing more local manufacturing jobs) and when they finally dump you for a company overseas selling the same thing you are not only did you just lay off all your workforce to keep WalMart happy you yourself are unemployed!

And I would do business with you if the opportunity arose. I am self employed also and honesty, integrity and loyalty are better than any salesmen any day.

Shop Zeller's - they're Canadian - let's all CGN'ers boycott Walmart.

there was a lengthy battle against letting walmart into my fair city of Guelph, and it was looking good for a long time but....the bastards won and now there is a huge fu*%ing walmart here too. the invasion continues i guess

Id rather go to CDN Tire. Id also rather support a CDN business than an American store.

Like my social teacher always says: In the future we will be electing companies instead of parties into government.
