Walther CP99 issue

Hey all,
I've got a Walther CP99 giving me problems:
The carrier that holds the CO2 cartrige and slides into the handle won't lock up into position and stay there.
It appears that there is nothing broken, the notch on the carrier is intact and looks good.
Any thoughts?

Also:
Are the triggers on these supposed to be so friggin' hard? Even cocked it takes considerable effort, and un-cocked is ridiculous.

Did you try playing with the screw at the bottom of the handle and adjusting/raising it?

Not sure about the mag try pushing it abit more into the well. Also make sure you finger is not on the mag release its under the trigger guard. As for the trigger pull can you explain what "hard" is?

i have one of these from a while back, the trigger is very smooth, not hard at all.

I'll give that a shot.(No pun intended) Didn't know that effected the carrier adjustment.

Crazy hard!.
Probably a minimum 8lbs pull when cocked and double that when not cocked.
= no fun to shoot.

Yea that's not right you may have a bad one talk to the warranty dept.
