Walther G22 question

Hello everyone!

I just have a quick question about the Walther G 22. What is the legal status of this little gem? The only thing I was able to find upon a Google search was a CCSA bulletin stating that the stock was prohibited while the actual firearm was non restricted. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I would also love to know if there is any place that one can purchase this beauty.

trhe cfo will not give you a written statement. those that have them can use them but never transfer them, if you don't have one, you can't get it period. as the cfo will not allow its transfer as they claim the stock is a prohibited device, however they do nothing to act on that claim as they don't make any effort to collect the ones in circulation. Went through this as I tried to buy one, finally gave up. I am not a lawyer, nor giving exact legal advice, just relaying what I have been told by the cfo and my experience, I may be wrong, but this is exactly what I went through and my recolection of the events.
