Walther GSP Question

Have been looking at used GSPs for plinking/target shooting.
I might get some cringes here but, can optics be mounted
on a GSP? Something like a holosight or 2x20 scope.

I have an UltraDot Matchdot mounted on my GSP Expert. I use it for Bullseye. Works much better than open sights at 50 yards.

You can get a sight base from Earl's in the US that replaces the rear sight so you don't have to do any drilling or tapping.
