I was able to dissasemble the handgun using a you tube instruction. However I cannot reassemble the piece. You are supposed to be able to bring the slide back fully and then pressdown to engage the rails. Cannot make it work. I have not been able to find a you tube video for reassembly which doesnt help. Anyone with any experience or ideas with this piece?

I have a Walther model 4, and struggled with the same issue.I was able to dissasemble the handgun using a you tube instruction. However I cannot reassemble the piece. The trick is not to baby it when moving the slide back, slide it back hard and at the same time give it some downward pressure and it will engage the rails.
It worked! Just about gave up and it went back together. Thanks again BradThank you for your reply. Getting it apart took less than 20 seconds. I will give this a try. Brad Flear
