Walther p1 good price?

ShowNoMercy here again. So I'm at a gun shop and come across a Walther p1. It has aluminum frame,dull military finish,hex pin,Walther banner on slide,1 mag and holster. Slide has 78' on it for year. Is this gun worth the $850 gun shop wants or is it too much for said gun? Also, can this gun be refinished with a nice blued finish, that would be more appealing or can only steel framed p38's give me that look? Help everyone! Opinions needed! Thank you all ahead of time.

The post war P1 and P38 are kind of sh1tty guns really.....not overly durable or accurate. For post war, you want to find the hex pin and heavy slide P1's for shooters. Even NIB $850 is crazy for such a crappy gun... Lol
