Walther P22 or GSG 1911?

Hi all,

I recently posted my Walther P22 for sale in the EE in an effort to replace it with a GSG 1911. I like the idea of the GSG full size frame and replaceable 1911 parts.

I'm looking for an opinion from someone who's shot/handled/owned both. I would hate to get rid of the Walther then realize it was the better gun. Generally It'll be used for plinking/teaching the young ones basics if that helps.

If you are using the P22 to teach kids, I would stick with it. The P22 grip is about 2/3 the size of a 1911 and will fit kid sized hands much better.
