Just purchased this today.

Walther P38 AC 41 (Mfg'd by Walther at Zella-Mehlis)

I snapped a few photos before leaving...Can't wait for the transfer so I can bring it home.

Looks to be a Russian Capture (X) next to the P38 on the slide.

But, from all the Serial Numbers I could see without stripping it down, they all match.

It has all matching stamps (again, from what I could see) 359 and all the Waffenampts and Eagle stamps are intact.

Serial Number and letter puts it being produced in September of 41

Very good rifling .

A little bit of character marks but I've been looking around for a while and this was the best I've seen in some time with matching numbers and stamps intact.

Only wish it could talk, and I could speak German.

I’m starting to do the same thing to feed my milsurp addicition.

The only stuff I’m willing to get rid of is anything polymer.

Up to this point, anything milsurp or antique that I’ve purchased, I’ve kept.

$900....I know.

Every time I buy these things I think of what people paid for them in days gone by, but I wasn’t old enough in the 80’s and 90’s to be buying firearms and I was hot plating Kraft Dinner in a dorm room in the 2000’s so I missed out on the prices of the window we all talk about.

Things aren’t getting any cheaper, but I can’t get them for $200 anymore and in a year’s time, the price will just be more than it is today.

In 2014 one of the sponsor dealer Weimarjack sold some . Mine from him was 700$ tax and shipping included.

Exactly , they're only going to go up in value . I paid about $ 200 for mine , that was in the mid eighties and 200 was a fair chunk of cash for a used pistol . Everything is relative and you won't regret paying that much in a few years time . Nice score .
