After passing on IRG's pdp pro full size in hopes that Marstars pdp compacts make it in. I don't think I will have a chance in owning a pdp pro at all. So, I did the next best thing. I went and bought a vanilla pdp, and picked up the dynamic performance trigger to go with it. I got my performance trigger, but still got to wait months before the CFO will approve the transfer.

I've been looking at pictures of the PDP Pro Sd's circulating in the U.S. and it looks like the “upgraded” trigger is the shoe only and does not include the upgraded fire control parts. Whereas my trigger when purchased on it's own, included it. Can anyone confirm this??

Maple Ridge Armory has them in stock. Came across it by accident when calling about a PDP. Give them a call

I don't see it on their website. Am I blind, or is it unadvertised and you need to phone in? I too bought a vanilla PDP rather than waiting for the SD Pro (glad I did).

Yeah I didn't see it on their website either. I only found out they had them in stock when I called looking for a pdp. Called them back to order 1 once I found a pdp, and they shipped it out the same day.

I have a vanilla PDP with the DPT installed. It makes a huge difference from stock, especially the reset.

You are correct that the PRO models only have the shoe, and not the FCU.

If you install the DPT and you want it to be lighter still, you can swap the bronze spring on the DPT with the silver spring from your stock FCU and reduce another .5 - 1 lbs or so.

Feel free to PM me if you have any specific questions.

Import ban math: vanilla PDP + trigger & spring upgrade + Taylor Freelance black brass (backstrap & magwell & mag bases) > SD Pro. The Taylor Freelance stuff has a Canadian vendor that is currently taking preorders until Aug 26, for late Sept delivery. Not sure they are CGN sponsors, so don't think I'm allowed to name them, but you can figure it out...

The stock trigger is really good. Most aftermarket triggers are about $150. These are $180 usd but Canadian stores sell them for over $300. At that price, it’s fully not worth the upgrade unless you’re a really big trigger snob or competing.
if you get a glock, any trigger upgrade is worth it. But the walthers stock one is fantastic.

I run the Walther DPT in my PDP, it's definitely an "upgrade" there is also the Overwatch trigger & they ship here, just an FYI. Cheers

I don't just want good/really good. I want the best from Walther lol

tbh I like the look of the DPT and for me, even without feeling both, I think I made the right choice from the feedback here, and from reviews across different platforms. I agree, $300 is quite expensive for the trigger, but it is an OEM part so I'm ok with it. Now I just need the CFO to speed things up already!!!
