Hi all, trying to source the missing 2 screws used to mount my Trijicon SRO red dot to my new Walther PDP. I have the mounting plate from Walther and the screws used to mount the plate to the slide, but...cannot find where I put the screws used to mount the scope to the plate. If I knew the size I could probably find a replacement pair, but not sure how to determine the correct size...anyone know the answer?

Cheers,
Jim W.

If you've got the width, all you need to guess is the thread pitch.
You can always cut the bolt down if its too long with a dremel cutoff wheel and debur it with a wire brush attachment.

Take the plate with you to a hardware store that has the little specialty trays of torx flat head screws then turn screws to your hearts content until you find ones that thread in. As for length, place the plate and SRO together and take a measurement of the thickness, that should get you close.

Just remember it's a German gun, almost certainly metric threads in the plate.

I will assume your PDP and my PPQ Q5 Match use the same plate screws, which are M3 socket head screws. The length will be the mounting plate thickness + (optic thickness - screw head length).
I bought a M3 socket head screw kit from Amazon a while ago as the supplied plate screws on my PPQ were not nearly long enough and neither were those that came with the optic. I also wanted replacements in case replacement were required.

Thanks for the tip…I found a couple of screws that worked, had to cut them to length but they work! I’ll have a look on Amazon, as you say spares are always good to have around!
