Well. Kitted out my brand new PDP. Got the Holosun 507C with the ACSS Vulcan reticle, and a beastly Surefire X400.

then today Flahertys drops one of my endgame guns, the 226 legion DA/SA.

my PDP kit is now on the EE.
aye aye aye….

anyone else had to make these decisions?!

Well there’s nothing I don’t like about the PDP. Trigger is better than any striker gun I’ve had (before aftermarket or competition triggers) and the feel is super natural.

but I’m a Sig slut and love decocker guns, and not rich so can’t have nearly 2k tied up in 2 different guns… so the Sig is my winner, as a long haul keeper.

You should keep PDP as I think you may have sellers remorse. They are totally different in all respects but both are awesome in their own right. I have both and would not part with either. My PDP is set up with the 507c ACSS as well.

If you have never shot a PDP you don't know what you are missing. Just my humble opinion.

I know!! I’ll feel like an ass for it but hopefully it’s my buddy at work that follows through with the purchase so at least if I can’t get another one, I’ll get to shoot his sometimes.

Al Flaherty's didn't inflate the price on it either, congrats on the P226! I picked up a 226 Legion SAO myself, but I am still thinking about picking up a PDP Pro SD. Figured if the freeze goes through, I would at least own a few I can enjoy for the rest of my life, with a little pain to get through on the CC now lol

I think I got one with IRG back when they released for around the $1450 mark, when their msrp was $1250 USD so that was the winner winner chicken dinner, but Al's definitely had a relatively good price for the current times.
Really had to think about it but glad I went for it. Just hoping the reportedly cheap cerokoting job holds up better than the initial release model. Might go crazy and send it away to get a more durable custom finish on it.

And unless they actually get the PDP PRO SD in stores soon, I think I'm keeping the Walther too :shotgun:
