my PP trigger won't function in single action....disassembled cleaned her well and still....google searchs seem to indicate a weak trigger bar spring but having a heck of time finding one...they list at $6.75 and numrich but they are sold out as is marstar...can anyone point me in the right direction? I have a PO box in the US also...

When the slide is cycled does the hammer stay cocked? if so, look at the
trigger bar (right grip removed). When the trigger is pulled, the the trigger
bar should move up into the notch in the cocking piece. If it doesn't move up
to engage the notch, then the problem is with the trigger spring (there is no
separate trigger bar spring), or some grit preventing the trigger bar from
moving upwards. If the spring isn't broken, it can be gentely bent to increase
pressure on the bar.
If the hammer won't stay cocked when the slide is cycled, then the problem is
with either the notch on the cocking piece, or the sear part of the hammer.
The hammer can be easily removed to square off the sear part. I don't think that the
cocking piece can easily be removed to true it's notch.
Has anyone shortened/stretched the hammer spring in an attempt to lighten
the trigger pull? If the notch/sear are not damaged, then a new hammer spring
should cure that problem.
