Hey guys

I was able to get a walther ppk in .32 as a 12-7 status a little while ago. I really wanted one in .380 but finding one old enough to be 12-7 is pretty difficult. I just got an idea that maybe I could get a complete slide assembly for .380 and put in on the .32 frame but I’m not sure if it would fit. And if it could would a .380 magazine fit in the mag well of the .32 frame?

Thanks!

Maybe I am missing something here but are you trying to make a .32 PPK into a .380 ??

They have a fixed barrel so that would make it somewhat diifficult

I have seen many .32 PP / PPK pistols converted to restricted only by adding a modified Browning 1922 barrel (.380acp). I don't think any modification is needed to the slide at all. Possibly might need a .380 recoil spring as I would imagin it would be more stout than the .32.

You'd need a .380 magazine too I think.

converting pp and ppk s to 380 from 32 is not a problem for proper gun smiths.
going this route would be better on a post war gun though , saving one as opposed to destroying another.
