Walther PPQ

It's inherently a accurate gun but not so much with the navy sights it comes with. The sights are great for tactical shooting though. It also has one of the best triggers for a striker fired polymer gun.

I will second cars post, in my opinion it is the handgun to buy, good luck finding one without paying more. I was in The shooting edge a couple months ago and didnt have the cash to pick one up. When i finally had enough there were no more in stock locally or online unless your paying an extra $200 (TSE charged 850 the one place online 1079.99 or something like that)

I ordered one on the 16th from Canada Ammo for $839.99 -- Although I hear I wont be getting it anytime soon. Guys on the forum are saying 2-3 weeks minimum wait. BUT it has a $10 list price cheaper than anywhere else I could find (next to SFRC at $849.99) **PLUS Canada Ammo has free shipping!! So if you don't mind the wait and want to save some $$ those seem to be the two cheapest options. I figure I'd rather wait and use the money saved to spend on the tritium night sights upgrade. (The 2013 model, PPQ M2 has the "traditional" mag release if that interest you -- I'm looking forward to the paddle release myself)

Goodluck! And keep posting updates on this this thread!

I agree paddle mag release was one of my favorites about the gun, picked up the hk version (cant rememebr what model) for the first time and its $200 more and not nearly as comfortable or peeerdy.

I love mine it fits like a glove and shoots like a beauty. I have considered selling it though as it is causing some cross training issues with my work issued pistol.

Mag release?

That's the only thing that keeps one out of my safe.
It's a shame because it feels awesome in my hands, but I'm not willing to screw up the way that I run a glock or m&p.

No I like the mag release, the light crisp trigger pull, and the sights are soo much easier to shoot it makes me lazy going back to the steel gun.

Oh, that's rough. The gun is just too good!
All I hear are good things about it.

If I see one of the 2013 m2's mentioned above, my g19 will get a good honest run for its money...

See 2013 Walther PPQ M2

I only shoot 1911's currently but I don't think I will have a problem switching back and forth but who knows. I like the button
release but I have to change my grip to manipulate it. I hear the leaver is faster and easier. I'll just cross train at home with snap caps.
I hope they stop providing our market with the lever release anyways so mine will be worth more down the road haha.

I like to keep my manipulation training as simple as possible. The less options your brain has, the quicker you can do something.
Trigger finger does one thing, thumb does one thing, etc...

With enough time/practice anything is possible, but my training time is limited as nobody pays me to shoot guns. :)

I hope they stop selling the lever release here too. We'll both win!

Can someone post pictures of their Walther PPQ with everything it comes with & case? Lots of American photos of PPQ FE but haven't seen any actual Canadian PPQ Navy's except Walther's stock photos. Thanks!

From the best of my knowledge it comes with 2 mags, factory case, cable lock, sm, med, lrg back straps and possibly extra sights. Here is a link to a review where he pulls it out of the box.

I'll post some up after work.

I love mine, it's great the only problem is the hard to find mags and holsters. Canada Ammo seems to have the best listed price for a new one.

Thank you very much! Yes, I placed my order with CanAm a week ago.. they are still thinking about taking my money lol. I found a source for the Canadian mags but will hold out for the pinned hi-cap. Also found a couple holsters but nothing great; it's hard enough for the standard PPQ let alone the Navy/ FE.

I just want pictures up from us Canadians. Always seem to be a little different from the rest. (ex. our 10rnd mags and Navy edition)
