Walther SP22 m2 / m4

I almost bought an M4 few months back. A sweet deal for $ 450, shipped. My only concern was the lack of Canadian inputs. Even the dealer who I was in contact back then swears he cannot vouch for the quality since it was new to CDN market. The only thing he can point out is a quality of the external finish which is good to excellent. According to forums south of the border, some internals are pot-metal. And lots of quality issues. GOOGLE is the answer to looking into these issues. I personally shoot a Buckmark Contour, and I will recommend this pistol for anyone who is into casual plinking to club level bullseye shooting. Ruger Mk III and 22/45 also provides a solid platform similar to Browning Buckmark. If you are member of a club, look around into what they are using. Ask them if you can shoot few rounds. Compare the grip, weight, sight and go for the one that suits your preference. If you want to go into competitive rimfire shooting, you might as well as look for Beretta 87 or S&W 41. But they will cost twice as much as the M4. Better if you can find them used.

Do any of you have thiese.22 target pistol? Just wondering how it compares to others like Browning Buckmark and Ruger?

Still waiting on my registration to clear before I can shoot it, but my dealer got 3 in! We were playing with them and couldn't get two to function at all. A quick dig in the manual reveals an adjustable trigger, so we adjusted them and they went "click" just like they were supposed to. (Yes, they're safe to dryfire.)

I'll let you know how she shoots next week! all in all though, after ripping mine apart, I'm really happy with how they're built and so far with how it functions.
