HI ALL.-

A gentleman just offer me 3 Walther Target Pistols in caliber 22 L.R., 22 Short and 32 Wad Cutter.

I don't see these pistols very often.

If it's still some market for these?

Unfortunately the 22 short was made obsolete when the ISSF decided to change the rules.

As for the other two, they are still very accurate pistols but have been upgraded. The Walther GSP Expert in .22 and .32 now have a built in recoil buffer and universal 1000 gram trigger.

But, .32 I think have to be expertly reloaded for accuracy.

And, .32 wad cutter bullets are not common on the market.

So, for a beginner, little tricky.

Very much still a competitive set (except for the 22short, though that can be converted to LR). The "expert" version barrel shroud costs about $150 and turning the barrel to round, easy modification but not really necessary as the recoil reduction system has only a small effect. Other big change was the two stage trigger, though a lot of folks prefer the older single stage. Other difference is the expert frame is carbon fibre rather than aluminium. It is a modular system and very flexible. No worries about 32 bullets they are the most common round in centre fire precision bullseye shooting. Harvey at AirgunsPlus usually has plenty.
