There are a few high end 1911 manufacturers which all deserve respect for their precision work. I personally like the Ed Brown for the styles they produce. As simple or custom as you desire.
I currently have a 5” Model of the gun above on order with night sights and without bobtail in 9mm.

Gary at Wanstalls is a great guy to work with and their customer service is second to none. Don’t hesitate on this one as I almost bought it. You will not see another one like it. Worth every penny.
