Wanstalls HiPoint Mags in Carbine?

I've had my HiPoint 995TS carbine for a while and was hoping that i finally found the mags it should have been shipped with!

It says they work in Hi Point pistols and "new" Hi Point carbines - not sure what that means as I can't find any new carbines on the HP webpage anywhere.
Anyone have any experience with these pistol mags in the carbine? Feeding, seating, etc.
My carbine is a 9mm btw and it would be awesome to have full 10 rounders.

Yes, they work just fine.

The carbine was designed to accept pistol mags.

The same way the Beretta and Keltec carbines were designed.

But as far as I know, there isn't a 9mm pistol available in Canada so they wouldn't be a legal device, correct?
There is a 45ACP in Canada but no 9mm pistols.
