I have been interested in guns for quite some time, but didn't end up getting my PAL till late 2012.

I have now acquired a few rifles/ shotguns and have spent a bit of time in gun shops in the lower mainland.

From the over half dozen stores I have been to in the last six months - hands down best service was from Wanstalls. Not that the other stores did anything overly wrong - just that Wanstalls set themselves apart as the store that will give you the best service. The staff was very knowledgeable - especially with me being new to the sport. They were quick to save me money and find me a great gun. As a store Manager myself, I recognize a well managed, and properly trained staff. If you are looking to make a purchase in the lower mainland or online I would strongly suggest checking out Wanstalls. I am confident, they will not dissapoint.

I have gone out of my way to buy from Wanstalls b/c they are competent, polite and customer-oriented.
Nothing irritates me more than going into a gun store and encountering stand-offish employees who act like they're members of some elite group who are slightly reluctant to deal with you. Some employees at three stores in the Vancouver area come to my mind. They could learn a lot from Wanstalls.

Their mail order deliver service is great too. I just bought a couple of TRS-25's from them a couple of weeks ago. Had one delivered but the packing slip said two. Called up, they apologized and said they would get the other one out right away. It arrived in the mail the very next day. Every company can make a mistake, but Wanstalls customer service is top notch. Definitely buy from them again.

I like this. I cant deal with retards like that I find there's one
In every gun store.
 
Between my wife and I we have purchased 4 guns from them now, I've been to every gun store in the lower mainland and they are very good there, international in surrey is also very good, reliable in vancouver and I've had good luck at Italian though I know others have not, the worst hands down literally every time I go there is wholesale sports, I swear I need to take an anger management course just from going to that place!

I just bought a TRS-25 from them online.

I completely agree! I bought a GSG-1911 and two Norinco M93's over the last month or so, every time - flawless, fast service.

My wife maintains they are way too easy to deal with - as she audits my credit card statement!
 
Mounted one on my 22/45 and SR22 - they work really great for short/medium range. I may have to buy another for my 10/22 TD. I just got in some Williams Fire Sights I want to try first. I figure for <50 yards they should be fine.

btw - if you ever lose one of the caps to the windage or elevation turrets, just phone up Bushnell Canada customer service. They'll mail one to you for free.

i agree that they do have decent customer service skills.

Unfortunately, when I brought in a rifle to have it re-blued a while ago, the job was not good. I took it somewhere else and they did it properly.

i would buy products from them, but I would not have work done on my firearms based on that experience.
 
When I went to wholesale sports up here in grande prairie a few weeks ago they didn't have any handguns out so I asked why they didn't. The guy said because we don't get enough interest for me to take them out of the safe. He didn't even ask if I wanted to see them. I hate people like that

Is it ever great. I ordered the TRS-25 a few hrs ago. Just got the shipment notification that it's on its way.
Awesome. Top notch service.
Oh, and even with shipping, the sight is still $10 cheaper than 2 competitors I called for pricing.
