Hello all I just ordered a SKS from Wanstalls for $199.99 and a bit of tax and shipping, and was wondering if anyone has ordered one from them and what do you think of it. cheers!V:I::nest:
 
I bought my first SKS from them. It was in very good condition. Good service. As opposed to on line purchases, it's good to see the rifle you are going to buy.
 
Tradex does $349 for SKS + 1000 rounds of surplus with free shipping, why anyone would pay $199+ shipping for an SKS is beyond me?

EDIT: actually it's $389 for laminate SKS + 1000 rounds including shipping. When I got mine, they had non-laminate for $349 with ammo and free shipping.
 
They are advertising their SKS's as new/unissued. The ones I seen are seen one, seen them all refurbs, not new or unissued. If you purchased your SKS without actually seeing it you maybe happy or disappointed.......

Imho thats the best deal out there at the moment
 
Still waiting for Wholesale Sports to do their $154 refurb Soviet deal again. Wish I'd have bought more than one, but the one I did get is a stunner. Laminated upper hand guard and original stock, I believe.

OH yea ,to the O.P. sorry we are just a bit off topic,but all info is good cause trust me you will buy more than one of these,your supplier is reputable and $199. is a good price. Enjoy your rifle!

ive grabbed 3 sks from wanstalls and a number of friends have as well. major bonus being only a 20 minute drive from there store. buying an sks sight unseen just doesnt work for me. part of the fun is digging into the crate to find the one you want, they all have there own personality. congrats tho im sure youll be happy with it.
 
I asked for a nice one and I would think they will choose a nice rifle to send me.I hope it is like the one in the picture a unissued laminate one.As I live out in the boonies and am 1 hour plus to the nearest gun shop so mail order works for me.The sks there is $250.00 for a re-ferb non - laminate.
