Run, don't walk to the Markham Lebaron! I just handled an absolutely pristine laminate Russian mild-refurb with a silver bolt and nicely blued bayonet! Their shipment has got to be the most hand-picked lot I have ever seen.

Lebaron selling MilSurp rifles??? Next you're going to tell me that they actually recognize target shooting as a legitimate sport now!

Yes to the first question. Probably "no" to the second question! :) They are a fishing and hunting-oriented retailer. They mainly sell hunting rifles and shotguns, with a few target .22's thrown in the mix. Their customer service isn't amazing, but I've experienced far worse!

Since when has an SKS been a target rifle.?? (although I must admit the bayonet would be useful for prying the staples out of the back board when changing targets) Yes, the SKSs at LE BARON are very nice compared to some sold by other suppliers. Tony

I should have split that up; two separate points. In the past I found Lebarons to be very unfriendly to "Military Type" rifle owners and also target shooters (aka: people that don't hunt).

I was in the Markham store a few years ago and was inquiring about reloading dies, when I asked the man at the gun counter for pricing on dies for .308 Winchester he asked what I would be reloading for. When I told him that I wanted to start reloading for my M1A his tone completely changed and advised me that I shouldn't use reloaded ammo in a military semi-auto. :jerkit:

They've been selling them for at least 6 months now.

Crates of 7.62x39 surplus ammo also, $218 for 1200 rounds.
