Want to but a 22 semi.lg

I want to buy a 22. long semi. What would be a good choice as I am new in to hand guns and want something that won't break the bank. Any suggestions???????????
Probably the best bang for the buck is the ruger.
Whether in Mark 1, 2 , or 3 they are good, low priced pistols. Very accurate and very reliable.
If you are a fan of 1911's the 22/45 version has grips and controls that will be familiar.
A good used one runs about $250.00 and new ones range from$300.00 to $500.00
Others to consider are browning buck mark, and smith and wesson model 41's.
