I've mentioned this in other threads but not got enough feedback, so this thread is for anyone that is interested in downloading the BC 23 Oct 2004 video of Hungrys M-14 clinic.
Depending on how many ppl are interested and what your level of proficency is with various downloading programs, I'm willing to upload the CD's.
The clinic comprises 2 CD-R's aprox 1.5 GB.
My preference would be to upload it in 100 or 250 MB archive files to a free file hosting service like putfile. You would have to download all the parts (they would be either .zip or .rar, possibly self extracting exe if you trust me.) and extract the CD images. Relatively easy to do without special applications. The files are usually deleted from the server 30 days after the last time they were accessed so retention is reasonable. Best if lots of ppl want to download with no required uploading.
Other options include uploading to a FTP server or using bittorrent but I'd rather not do that as I do not have a server I can host on or run a tracker from. But this can be considered if you guys want that.
Let me know who is interested and how you'd like to download.
Note this is Hungry approved and would help reduce his workload WRT burning and mailing CD's.
Hungry here: Ya, like I've mentioned before, PLEASE feel free to copy this material FREELY since I am nly selling my CD-R double set for $ 8.00 mailed to you. That covers the expenses only. I don't own the M14 material and I never will claim to know everything, but I will openly brag that I've made every mistake one could possibly make at least TWICE. Yeah, my old coach used to say, "Keep spare parts, for when you mess up." Sage advice, now and back then. I wanna ensure that all of you know as much about this M14 platform as you can before some errant school bus driver at my high school runs me over !
