Want to find a gunsmith in Manitoba.

I don't know if PGW takes outside work any more. I used to go there when Ross first started out in the 90's, but since they went to PGWDTI, I doubt it.
There is Rob in Dugald, he seems very nice and reasonable. rdpgunsmithing.com
Depends what you want as well I guess. Looking for repairs or custom work? There seems to be a big difference between the traditional gunsmith that fixes things, makes obsolete or unobtainable parts, or the guys that put together new parts to make custom rifles.

I'd stay away from RDP, he's a complete $&@&. Depending on the work needed I d go to Lyle Linkatis at Ultimate Accuracy in Lockport.

RDP has been closed down for 2 yrs already......Rob moved to Wpg and is out of the business - med issues. He did alot of good work for me - I had no issues, built two beauty rifles for me and sons, and he sure had alot of $&@& customers to deal with.....

Spend the money and ship: some excellent shops to deal with in BC.

RDP has not shut down. As of a year ago the company i worked for was still using him for our firearm repairs. I beleive he moved into Dugald and is no longer at the big shop on plypton rd.

I'd recommend Jim Schellenberg too. When I last dealt with him a couple years ago he was semi retired so best to call him first to find his availability.
