A friend of mine recently came into an Ithaca model 72 takedown "Saddle Gun". (22LR, lever gun, only made for about 5 years he says). Anyway, he's looking for instructions on how to properly disassemble and re-assemble the rifle.

Anyone who has pointers on where such could be found (preferably for free), he/we would appreciate it.

Thanks,

Ithaca Model 72 Saddlegun

Made from 1973 to 1979, this rifle was offered in .22 Long Rifle and .22 Magnum only. It had an 18 1/2" barrel. The levergun was designed by Erma of Germany. Some years after Ithaca stopped production Iver Johnson picked it up and marketed it as the "Wagonmaster". It is basically the same rifle that Henry is producing today

Perhaps the current Henry schematics can help you.
