.... who can give my beautiful Python a reasonable DA trigger pull.

I really like the fit and finish of the revolver in question, but the DA pull is 'clunky' to the point where it sets my teeth on edge! It 'stacks' up ala Colt just before final let off, making it impossible to keep the front sight on target.

I'm used to my S&Ws which have either been professionally tuned or have after market spring kits installed.

The Python was/is a favourite of PPC shooters, so somebody must be able to tune them to make them perform as good as they look.

I can't say that I know of any Colt Gunsmiths, they are a bit of a dying breed in this country, especially where the old style Colt actions are concerned and the Python falls
into that group. But, I can point you to an article: http://www.coltfever.com/GUNSMITHING.html and to a book,
which I found through the article above: "The Colt Double Action Revolvers: A Shop Manual, Vol. I" You can order the book through Brownell's for $38.00 US, which is about
the best price available. I'm not saying you should do the work yourself, I'm just trying to point you to some solid information on the subject.

Good luck.
