OK, I've got a 10/22 coming in the next couple of weeks and a machinist friend says he could make up some buffer bolt/pins for me if I could give him the dimensions. Anyone out there sitting with their 10/22 apart that can use their micrometer and help me out? I'm looking for outside diameter and length of the rear pin. Thanks in advance, Peter.

Yeah, for the cost of the buffers (and yes they are great quality and come with lifetime warranties), it might be the better option. That said, if you really want the bolt dimensions, I can get the calipers from my shed tomorrow and take a measurement.
