Was bored this afternoon....so I made a shooting bench

So here is my first bench, it will be permanent and it's handy my pop up blind fits over it
I will post more pics when the top is done can any one give me some tips on how to improve?

Great start, interesting your blind will fit over so now no excuse for a missed shot...LOL

What are the dimensions, height, width, length etc.

Would love to take credit but I just can't. The unit is mostly made or Western red cedar. It was all the garbage stuff at work so I sanded it all and used a mistint stain. I have 5$ into it which is the screws and sika bond adhesive ( better than PL premium )

I plan on making an adjustable bipod stop but don't know what route I will go yet, also plan on putting it in the ground

Love the idea of two seats in there! I hunt with my wife & pretty much play 'guide' until she gets her deer... So I could sit there in the passenger seat, chat quietly, play cards, run a heater... Etc etc etc...

My first reply its a link to the plans, I can get under it like a truck cap and move it probably just over 150 lbs...dry haha I'm sure you can scale down a little bit need be but I like it larger for load development and a clip board a spotter or in my case my shooting buddy is a lefty... I'm really happy with how it came out you wouldn't know I'm a welder I went the extra mile and used birch plugs so water can't sit and rot and used a good penetrating stain/wood preservative (sansin)

I think half of the guys here have the same bench pattern. Mine's made out of pressure treated lumber but is otherwise the same thing.

Staying in one place kryogen may start another thread on range ideas. For markers and set up. I think I have clear shot to 400+ yards but have room to make targets every 100 yards.
