[/IMG] ive been running remoil on my cz858, i usually clean my parts with it scrubbing them down and then give them one more dousing in rem oil then wipe the parts down taking off the excess. im just a little curious/ paranoid if my reciever is wearing down too quickly. you can kind of see it in the pic the rails are showing shiny metal and the bottom part that the bolt rides on is getting shiny too. this is after only 400 rounds. i did switch to using grease today so there is some red grease on it. any help appreciated.

Exactly what he said, my SKS did the same thing after a few hundred rounds. Nothing to worry about, keep on shooting!

Lol do you have any idea how hard those parts are? You could run it dry if you wanted to. It would of course wear faster but all your seeing is the parts wearing in and its perfectly normal. I was confused as to what the problem was before I read the post. Your doing well grasshopper!

I would opt for grease for that application, myself.
