washer in SKS?

so i tore my sks apart to get the grease out... and then i noticed a washer on the surface i was doing this on. did that washer come from the sks?!?!

i didnt notice comming from the gun, but there it was.

Pics would help but I dont recall a regular washer in the sks.

The only place I could see a washer coming from is the bar that runs from one side of the stock to the other. Maybe it was just a washer that made its way into the stock at manufacturing.

canadian> its just a regular split washer, dark in colour.

Maybe it was put as a spacer between the stock and trigger group.

i`m a lefty, when i get mad at them they like to chuck the casings at my face. so i generally am nice to mine.lol
